Instruction and DOL Testing

TEEN CLASSES

Our DOL Drivers Training Course (30 hrs of classroom plus 6 one hour drives) is $400.00. No extra fees. All learning materials are provided. No fuel surcharge. Teens must now "Pre-Apply" for a Driving Permit online at WA DOL. When you Pre-Apply you will be given a PIC number Whatcom Driving Academy will submit to DOL when you register for a class. This allows students aged 15 to get a driving permit without taking the Knowledge Exam. Classes begin every five weeks.

Adult Behind the Wheel Instruction

$65 hr. No minimum amount of hours required. We instruct adults new to driving in Washington, those wishing to refresh skills before a DOL re-test, and those who have never driven a motor vehicle. We can help prepare you for your DOL Skills exam.

We also offer a Drivers Awareness Course for Court Mandated Continued Education. Includes written course work, behind-the-wheel instruction, and a Certificate of Completion.

DOL TESTING

We can issue a "Temporary Permit" to drive just for the exam if needed...please call for details.

DRIVE SKILLS TEST ONLY - $35.00
KNOWLEDGE AND DRIVE SKILLS TEST - $50.00
